THE EMERALD

The Emerald is an artist-led & artist-driven performing-arts collective based out of Kansas City. Our mission is to produce shows that challenge convention, prioritize experimentation, and transcend the status quo. 

We support diverse, non-traditional performers, artists, and cultural-producers who are often creatively restricted within mainstream venues. By providing a theater-level of production assistance to our performers, in terms of both creative and technical support, we encourage artists to make something that previously seemed impossible. Innovation requires experimentation and audience feedback, and the Emerald provides a supportive environment for artists to explore their potentials. 

It is essential to continue to see new things in order to imagine what is possible. We aim to foster ambition in audiences and artists alike by keeping them inspired.
